Flourish Excel 100ml Seachem - Addition of bioavailable organic carbon for planted freshwater aquariums.

By adding Flourish Excel™ to your aquarium water, you provide your plants with organic compounds structurally similar to those they might produce, which will be used for the growth of your plants. The use of Flourish Excel can be achieved even if you are already adding CO2 for the growth of your plants.

Instructions and Dosage:

First use or after a large water change: 5 ml / 40 liters

Daily addition: 1 capful for 200 liters

Principle of photosynthesis and the functioning of Flourish Excel for aquatic plants:

Plants produce carbon compounds larger than CO2 known as photosynthetic intermediates. These intermediate compounds include compounds such as:

- Ribulose 1,5-biphosphate (an intermediate compound useful for photosynthesis).

- 2-carboxy-3-keto-D-arabinitol 1,5-bisphosphate (an intermediate compound useful for photosynthesis).

These names may seem complicated, but in reality, they are simple 5-carbon chain molecules. Flourish Excel™ does not contain these specific compounds per se, but it does contain similar bioavailable compounds for plants.
