En savoir plus

The Astreopora primarily feeds on plankton at night; during the day, its polyps are hidden within its skeleton. Therefore, this coral should be fed at least once a week during the twilight phase.

It requires moderate lighting and strong indirect water flow to prevent sediment particles from settling on the coral. This species of coral is relatively easy to maintain if proper calcium and alkalinity levels are kept in the aquarium and if the feeding frequency is maintained or if there is a good amount of microfauna present.
