Pavona maldivensis

The species Pavona maldivensis belongs to the family Agariciidae. Feeding once per day is recommended with prey such as rotifers and Artemia nauplii of a size <0.5cm, for example. Recommended for beginner aquarists. The propagation of Pavona maldivensis is possible and well mastered. Light: strong with a spectrum of about 14 to 20,000 k. Aggressiveness: low. Current: strong. Water quality: we recommend a nitrate NO3- level between 4 and 10 mg/l. As well as a phosphate PO4 level between 0.01 and 0.05 mg/l. Of course, Calcium (400-440mg/l), Magnesium (1250-1350mg/l), and KH (7.5 to 9°All) should be at the right values. In conclusion, Pavona maldivensis are very easy to maintain if you illuminate and circulate them intensely, provided the parameters are good.
