Bacter Kit Aragonite 6 vials
Consists of BACTER ARAGONITE live marine bacterial strains specific to the marine substrate and NUTRI ARAGONITE, nutrients and prebiotics necessary for their full development.
En savoir plus
Composed of BACTER ARAGONITE, specific live marine bacterial strains for the marine substrate, and NUTRI ARAGONITE, nutrients and prebiotics necessary for their full development.
Our rigorously selected bacteria establish optimal biological filtration within the substrate, quickly form a protective biofilm on its surface, and degrade waste present on and within the soil.
They directly compete with algae, including cyanobacteria, and physically limit their appearance and development.
Usage
Inoculation: Pour 1 cm of saltwater into the tank, add 3 vials of BACTER ARAGONITE and 3 vials of NUTRI ARAGONITE for 10 Kg of substrate, mix and let it sit for 30 minutes. Add the substrate and rocks, then finish filling the aquarium.
Reactivation: Remove 1 Kg of soil, add 1 vial of BACTER ARAGONITE and 1 vial of NUTRI ARAGONITE for 10 Kg of substrate, mix, let it sit for 30 minutes, then spread over the old soil.
Dosage
→ Box of 6 vials:
Inoculation up to 10 Kg of substrate
Reactivation up to 30 Kg of substrate
→ Box of 30 vials:
Inoculation up to 50 Kg of substrate
Reactivation up to 150 Kg of substrate
Does the kit work with all substrates?
Yes, our bacteria colonize all types of marine substrates, more or less effectively depending on the quality of the substrate.
A good aragonite substrate will be ideal!
I can't find Aragonite; what can I use instead?
Real aragonite sand is very rarely available and its commercialization is highly controlled.
This is a good thing because its exploitation causes serious ecological problems when not managed responsibly.
Moreover, despite careful cleaning, these natural sands are often polluted by microplastic fragments.
You can use coral sand or shell sand as a replacement.
