The Reef Octopus Kalk Stirrer (Nilsen Reactor) is equipped with a high-torque, low-speed motor that efficiently, quietly, and gently mixes your calcium hydroxide (Kalkwasser). This method is not only ideal but also the safest way to dose the freshest possible Kalkwasser to your reef system. The Reef Octopus Kalk Stirrer is designed to keep undissolved particles at the bottom of the reactor chamber while always leaving the highly saturated clear Kalkwasser liquid at the top. Adding Kalk powder couldn't be simpler; just a few turns of the large thumb screws release the airtight cover for quick and easy Kalk refills.
No more need for motor heads that need to be cleaned or replaced randomly, and no more risky dosing with large limewater tanks that take up valuable space. You will never have to worry about premixing or blockages again by using our new innovative and efficient Kalk stirrer (Nilsen reactor), which is extremely easy to use and safe for saltwater, making it simply the most economical and best Kalk reactor on the market.
*The Kalk agitator uses a motor with a lifespan of approximately 1,500 hours. Please do not operate the unit continuously.
