ClariSea SK-5000 GEN3

This new version incorporates all the changes and improvements from the upgraded Gen 2.1 filter, but with a host of additional new features, including a pre-built body, a multi-size input adapter, and an easier-to-load filter.

The ClariSea fleece filter is a highly efficient water filtration system that effectively removes suspended particles such as microalgae, detritus, food, organic waste, and debris from the water column. Suitable for use in marine aquariums, freshwater aquariums, fish breeding systems, and coral propagation systems.

Mounting and installation options
The Gen2 ClariSea is very flexible and easy to position in your sump:

You can hang it on the back, front, or sides of most sumps.
You can place it freely on the base of a shallow sump with a water level below 200 mm.
You can place it freely on a box or shelf in deeper sumps.
You can feed it from the front or the back.
You can feed the water from the top, side, or at an angle.
You can even pump feed it.

Buttons and functions
Motor button
• Manually advances the fleece motor
 

 Alarm Button

Press the alarm button for 1 to 2 seconds to disable the audible alarm. Alarm conditions will still be present.
The red LED will still blink
Automatic fleece advance disabled.
The motor button will still function as manual advance.

Pressing the alarm button for > 5 seconds: -

Complete reset - full alarm state reset
Power disconnections: performs the reset as above.

Normal operation
Initialization (power on or reset):
• The blue/red LEDs flash 5 times (an audible alarm sounds with each flash)
• The blue LED will remain on.

Motor advance:
Manual or automatic, the blue LED flashes

Possible alarm conditions:

Possible roller jam/motor failure (float held in the high position for more than 5 seconds)
• The red alarm LED flashes
• An audible alarm sounds for 2 seconds every 5 seconds
• Automatic fleece advance disabled.

Possible empty fleece (float not triggered within 8 hours)
• Blue/red LED flashing, an audible alarm sounds for 1 second every 2 seconds
• Automatic fleece advance disabled.

Possible installation error (float not triggered 48 hours after initial setup or reset)
• The red LED flashes at 10-second intervals (an audible alarm sounds with each flash)
• Automatic fleece advance disabled.

Use only the 20 mm bolt to attach the motor to the Clarisea according to our quick start guide below, do not use the 30 mm bolt, it is for the clean fleece. Using a 30 mm long bolt to attach the motor will damage the motor assembly.
