Diadema setosum common name: Long-spined sea urchin. This sea urchin is nocturnal and often hides during the day; it is a real asset against algae. It hardly disturbs corals except for juvenile corals, which can be threatened during its grazing. Its spines are very large, and the specimen can reach 40 cm thanks to them. A water volume of 300L seems to provide a suitable space for this species. Water temperatures between 22° and 28° are acceptable, as well as a pH between 7.5 and 8.5.
