Catappa Leaves XL

Description

The benefits of almond leaves for aquariums are well known in Asia. Breeders and owners of various fish and animals—bettas, discus, shrimp, crayfish, crabs, and plecos—use them to treat bacterial diseases and heal injured fish, for example, following bites or during transport. Using almond leaves significantly reduces the risk of wound infection and strengthens mucous membranes.
It's worth noting that beneficial bacteria are not affected by the use of almond leaves.
During fish transport, it is recommended to place a small piece of our almond leaves or almond bark in the water, as this significantly reduces the animals' fragility and stress due to the high microbial load.
HOBBY almond leaves placed in the aquarium help to trigger spawning and limit the development of fungi on the eggs. Almond leaves release tannins and humic substances, creating a natural environment and improving the vitality and well-being of your aquarium inhabitants.

Characteristics

• ensures the vitality and well-being of your animals
• product from the natural habitat of shrimp and fish
• aids in shrimp molting
• has an astringent effect
• contains numerous natural active ingredients that have a positive effect on the water
  and the fish
• boosts immune defenses and reduces stress experienced by animals

Usage

Place the leaf directly into the aquarium water. One leaf is sufficient for 30 – 50 liters. The leaf sinks to the bottom of the aquarium within 24 – 48 hours. It then releases its active ingredients into the water for approximately 2 weeks. Place a new leaf in the aquarium afterward. You can leave the old leaf in the aquarium as food for crabs, crayfish, and shrimp or remove it. The leaves can be stored indefinitely when kept in a dry place. As it is a natural product, variations in shape, color, and size are possible.
