The nanostream® formula

In 2006, the nanostream® concept was developed at TUNZE®. Turbelle® nanostream® is a compact centrifugal pump for medium and nano aquariums. It impresses with its organically shaped ball design and its 3-way adjustable water jet without unnecessary additional accessories. The pump has a large intake basket to prevent premature contamination. 
Upon its market introduction, this flow pump set a new record thanks to an innovative idea: with a jet diameter of only 70 mm, it achieved a water flow rate of 4500 l / h, using 5 W of energy (18 W and 5500 l / h in the electric version). As the first pump on the market, it also received a standard magnetic holder, allowing it to be easily mounted anywhere on the aquarium wall with glass thickness up to 19 mm.
