The nanostream® formula

In 2006, the nanostream® concept was developed at TUNZE®. Turbelle® nanostream® is a compact centrifugal pump for medium and nano aquariums. It stands out with its organic ball-shaped design and its adjustable 3-way water jet without unnecessary additional accessories. The pump has a large intake basket to prevent early contamination.
Upon its market introduction, this flow pump set a new record thanks to an innovative idea: with a jet diameter of only 70 mm, it achieved a water flow rate of 4500 l / h, using only 5 W of energy (18 W and 5500 l / h in the electric version). As the first pump on the market, it also came with a standard magnetic mount, allowing it to be easily positioned anywhere on the aquarium wall with glass thickness up to 19 mm.
