Comline® Wavebox 6208

The Comline® Wavebox 6208 is a wave generator for small and medium-sized aquariums with a nominal volume of 150 to 800 liters.

It is easy to use, elegant, and small. Its very compact size allows it to be discreetly placed in aquariums.

The Comline® Wavebox 6208 uses the Turbelle® nanostream® 6055 with the Turbelle® controller for its operation.

The integrated magnetic support allows you to easily fix the device anywhere in the aquarium with a wall thickness of up to 15 mm.

Is the Wavebox suitable for an aquarium with a drainage system?

With normal wave formation, only slight movements of the water occur in the middle of the aquarium (in relation to its length). If possible, install a drain and a water inlet here. The further this area is, the greater the water level differences. TUNZE® drains can easily handle such variations, but noise may occur.

Can the Wavebox produce more waves?

Double waves can form in aquariums longer than two meters. To achieve the necessary frequency, the single wave resonance frequency must be halved. This can only be achieved with a larger Wavebox.

Is the Wavebox compatible with other Turbelle® pumps?

The Wavebox can be installed in an aquarium with Turbelle® pumps. The circular current
of the Turbelle® pumps and the Wavebox wave pulses overlap and create a strong pulsating circular current, similar to the biotope zone of a reef crest.

Two Wavebox 6214 are needed for tanks with a capacity of 2,000 L. Should two Waveboxes be placed side by side if space is lacking?

Two Waveboxes can be placed in two opposite corners of the aquarium, then they operate alternately. When one Wavebox is running, the other stops, and so forth. This can be guided by the Wavecontroller 7092.
